HoodWinked!!!!

I went to Sherman Dodge with my heart set on getting a car of my choice. My credit didn't allow me to get it without a co-signer. One of the managers suggested that I call some one who can co sign for me. I called my dad who co signed (well at least he thought he was the CO SIGNER)for my vehicle. He was told by the loan agent and the Manager at the dealership that after 6 months he would no longer be a co signer on the vehicle and his named would be taken off the loan contract completely. Turns out my dad is THE owner of this car in which he cannot be taken off of the loan nor can this count as a a credit builder for me because my name is not on any of the paper work although I am the person that is making the payments. I never receive any of the documentation stating that I'm making payments, how much I have left to pay etc., We were misinformed on how this contract was supposed to be conducted. My 75 year old dad was duped into buying a car that he cannot afford on his fixed income nor can he drive with his poor vision. CROOKS!!!!

Sherman dodge has the worst service!

So if you ever decide to buy a Chrysler product, make sure that you NEVER buy it from Sherman Dodge! I was treated like a homeless person! I was told that my attire was not acceptable and that they had no time for me! (I was in a pair of Brand new Old Navy jeans and a size large T.shirt and Carhart jacket! That my money was not good there and that they were too busy to help me! I had not even told them what kind of CAR/SUV I was looking for yet! (FYI: My Credit score is a 760! and I had 9000 cash on hand for the DP.) Then they told me that they didn't care about me as a customer! I left very upset, then drove over to the Woodfield Hummer dealership and was treated with total care. I am now the proud owner of a 2007 GM Hummer H3! I hope that you take this advise when purchasing your next car or SUV!

Well Say what you will, But I wasn't telling anyone a load of garbage. Infact they didn't give me the chance to have them run my credit.

Sorry about Chuck, sounds like he needs a hug! Glad to hear that someone had a good experiance there.

I don't work at Hummer, infact I own my own shop in the city and will have the second one open in six weeks.

As far as "Cash on hand"? Well Sorry Chuck, sounds like someone needs a raise. If you don't have a savings account in this economy then you better start looking for a nice studio and a room mate.

I had no desire to make payments for 5 years, and I didn't want to blow almost a grand a month either. ie: I put down a downpayment. Whats the differance between using your money or your old car? Money down is money down.

PERIOD. Rather than taking a hit on a perfectly good car, I gave it to my wife. I know, how selfish of me! I really do not care one way or the other what your feelings are twards my comment.

I simply posted up what happened. I did this because I wouldn't want anyone to be treated be as I was treated. Last but not least, a car salesman will usually not bother looking at you unless they feel that you are worth it.

(As I used to sell for Mullers years ago, I should know). So that's probably where I get "The Lingo" from!

Could this post be anymore full of it? Speaking as a sale rep, no one would ever tell you that you were not dressed appropriately.

Lie number one. 760 credit score? If that's true, they would have been kissing your feet in this economy. Lie two.

9000 cash on hand? Right, can you be anymore full of ***?

If you are that hard up to sell your Hummers, try dialing out of the white pages...

I got my car from there and I was treated with Respect and I am going to get another car from there. Dude you are lieing.

no one would tell you that your money is not good there. all money is GREEN and not matter what they would have took it. And if your credit score is really a 760 why would you need $9000 in cash. only people with a credit score under 500 would need that!

Sorry don't buy you story. Work on you credit and maybe they can get you in a car!

It sounds like you work at the hummer dealership!!!!!!!! You use the "lingo" in your posting. Nice job!

That does not sound very true buddy since car salesman will do business with anyone they do not care what you look like. So maybe you where at Nordstroms and you are confused. Or your full of it either one will work.

Sherman Dodge, Treated like dirt!!

I was treated like an *** today at SHERMAN DODGE. Went in for service and was told my 70,000/7 year warranty was CANCELLED! Had to take the day off work to find paper work and prove i had the coverage I had paid for. After much fuss it was re-instated and i was told I was covered. No apologies, no regrets, just a shrug and I was told to relax. COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE WITH SHERMAN DODGE. they should NOT have a five star rating! I hope you reading this will avoid SHERMAN DODGE. HORRIBLE
